1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any ELIDZ platform, application, or service (collectively "ELIDZ Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Note: These terms apply to all ELIDZ digital platforms including the ELIDZ Skills Portal and any future connected applications.

2. Definitions

"ELIDZ" — East London Industrial Development Zone and its affiliated digital platforms.
"Auth Platform" — The centralised ELIDZ authentication system at auth.elidz.co.za.
"User" — Any individual who registers or uses ELIDZ services.
"Account" — Your registered identity on the ELIDZ Auth platform.
"Connected Platform" — Any ELIDZ application that uses the central auth system.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use ELIDZ services.

3.2 Legal Capacity

By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under South African law.

Users who have been previously suspended or banned may not create new accounts.

4. Account Registration & Security

4.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. Providing false information may result in account termination.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Notify us immediately at support@elidz.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.

4.3 Single Account

Your ELIDZ account is a single identity that grants access to all connected ELIDZ platforms. You may not share your account credentials with others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Impersonate any person or organisation
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any ELIDZ system
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
Use ELIDZ services for spam or unsolicited communications
Violate any applicable South African laws or regulations
Interfere with the operation or security of any ELIDZ platform

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of ELIDZ services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your personal data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. We never store plain-text passwords.

7. Account Termination

7.1 By You

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@elidz.co.za.

7.2 By ELIDZ

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

8. Limitation of Liability

ELIDZ services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, ELIDZ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of East London, Eastern Cape.

10. Changes to Terms

ELIDZ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
